From Ideas to Real Products: Looking Back at the WiV Singapore Cohort
Every great product starts with an idea.
Sometimes it's a problem you've wanted to solve for years. Sometimes it's a simple "What if...?" that refuses to leave your mind. But for many people, the hardest part isn't having the idea, it's believing they can actually build it.
That's exactly why Women in Vibe Coding exists.
In March 2026, we welcomed an incredible group of women to the Women in Vibe Coding Singapore Cohort, where they spent four weeks discovering what it means to build with AI, experiment fearlessly, and turn ideas into working products.
The Journey Began with Curiosity
On March 17, our Singapore BuilderThon officially kicked off.

Builders from different backgrounds came together with one thing in common: a desire to create.
Some had product ideas they had been thinking about for months. Others simply wanted to understand how AI and Vibe Coding could help them build something of their own. Regardless of their starting point, everyone arrived ready to learn, experiment, and support one another.
Over four weeks, participants explored modern AI-powered building workflows while learning alongside experienced mentors and a welcoming community of fellow builders.
Instead of focusing only on theory, they focused on doing.
They tested ideas, built prototypes, asked questions, solved problems together, and discovered that creating software is becoming more accessible than ever before.
Building More Than Products
One of the most rewarding parts of the Singapore cohort wasn't just seeing projects come to life. It was watching confidence grow.
Over four weeks, participants progressed through online learning sessions that covered the entire builder journey; from identifying a problem worth solving and learning how to use AI-powered development tools, to building a functional service and preparing to showcase it with others.
With every lesson, every iteration, and every challenge, their confidence grew.

Throughout the program, builders encouraged one another, shared honest feedback, celebrated every milestone, and proved that the best products are often built by communities, not individuals.
That collaborative spirit became one of the defining strengths of the Singapore cohort.
Demo Day: Where Ideas Became Reality
On April 11, , the Singapore cohort celebrated the end of its four-week journey with an inspiring Demo Day.
Builders proudly presented products they had created throughout the program, transforming early concepts into working applications that reflected both creativity and real-world impact.
Each presentation told a different story.

Some projects tackled everyday challenges. Others explored entirely new possibilities made possible by AI. While every product was unique, they all shared something important:
They were built by people who decided to stop waiting and start creating.
The Demo Day wasn't simply a showcase of finished projects. It was a celebration of curiosity, persistence, collaboration, and the belief that anyone can become a builder with the right mindset and community.
A Community That Continues Beyond the Program
Although the Singapore cohort has officially concluded, the journey certainly hasn't.
The friendships formed, the lessons learned, and the confidence gained continue long after Demo Day ends.

At Women in Vibe Coding, we believe the strongest communities aren't built in a single event, they grow through continuous learning, shared experiences, and people who lift one another up.
To every builder who joined the Singapore cohort: Thank you.
Thank you for your curiosity, your creativity, your willingness to experiment, and your courage to build something new.
We're incredibly proud of everything you've accomplished, and we're excited to see where your builder journey leads next.
This wasn't the finish line. It was just the beginning.
